King's-Edgehill produces Secret Garden later this month

Quick As A Wink Theatre and King’s-Edgehill School collaborate annually to present a spring musical. This year’s production of The Secret Garden is sure to impress. 

The musical is a Broadway award-winning adaptation of the beloved classic children’s novel. The show stars Rachel Bobbitt as the orphaned Mary Lennox, who goes to live at the gloomy British manor with her Uncle Archibald, played by Alan Slipp. 

Other local talent includes Maya Read, Michael Dennis, Elsa Hodder, Marshall Josey and Dan White. 

The cast and band are comprised of members ranging from the Valley to Halifax to Chester and everywhere in between. The show is approximately two and a half hours in length and is appropriate for all audiences. 

Performances are being held at King’s-Edgehill School’s Fountain Performing Arts Centre

There are four evening performances starting at 7:30 p.m.  May 30 and 31 and June 6 and 7.

There are three afternoon performances starting at 2 p.m. on May 31, June 1 and June 7.

Tickets are $17.50 for adults, $15 for students and members of Quick As A Wink, and $12 for children. The June 1 performance is pay-what-you can.
