NEW MINAS, N.S. - Documents to shred?

You’re in luck. Kings District RCMP and Kings County Senior Safety Program are working in partnership with Shred-It to offer another free Community Shred-It event. It will take place in the parking lot of the Louis Millett Centre in New Minas Sept. 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

"Protecting yourself from identity theft and other forms of fraud is what Community Shred-it events are all about,” said Const. Kelli Gaudet of Kings District RCMP.

“We want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to dispose of their important documents in a safe manner."

The shredding services will be offered for free and open to all.

“We look forward to seeing many of you there,” said Gaudet.
