GASPEREAU, NS – Two staff members from Farm Credit Canada (FCC) in Kentville delivered a $1,000 donation to the school food program at Gaspereau Valley Elementary School last week.

Elliot Levy says FCC’s national Drive Away Hunger Campaign is underway now and will run until Oct. 13.
Levy said, “We will be having a bbq on Sept. 29 (weather permitting) at our office at 101-49 Cornwallis Street, Kentville.”
“Our main food drive will occur on Oct. 12 with a tractor and trailer stopping at several schools between Cambridge and District Elementary to Evangeline Middle School.”
He noted that, “last year we received (between cash and food donations) 46,443 meals.”
