Greenfield Cemetery directors seeking fundraiser donations

Published on August 27, 2014

The directors of the Greenfield Memorial Cemetery have decided there is a need to have a maintenance fund benefit event. It will be held on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 1:30 p.m. at the Gaspereau School.

The directors are asking the community for donations of home made baked goods, pickles, jams or jelly. If you are a knitter or have some other home made item that you'd like to donate it could be dropped off to Gladys Jodrey  (902-542 2846) or Betty Lou Brown (902-542-2717) or call for pick up.

This event will consist of a country show (watch the Kings County Advertiser closer to the event for more information) with a bake table and a variety table. If you aren't able to donate something for the tables, a monetary donation would be graciously accepted.
