Wolfville's L'Arche community part of 'selfie' contest

It's "selfie" time at Applewicks in Wolfville. Kristy Leighton, left, Brenda Henshaw, Cyndi Southall, Christina Tanner, Derek Smith, Laurie-Anne Hughes, and Heather Pineo have inaugurated the new #larcheselfie competition on Facebook.

L’Arche Homefires in Wolfville operates several homes and a workshop on Gaspereau Avenue. The community has a building campaign underway. A gala fundraising night is set for May 8 at Acadia, featuring the Famous People Players.

The Facebook contest is open to all L'Arche communities around the world and the selfie with most "likes" will win. L’Arche International operates in more than 35 countries around the world building inclusive communities.
