Nova Scotia Youth Conservation Corps students
The Town of Kentville, Kings Transit and Kings Regional Development Agency have welcomed two summer sustainability research assistants: Tupon Tajrin of Wolfville and Lucas Brehaut of Kentville.
Tupon and Lucas are employed through a cooperative summer work program administered by the N.S. Department of Environment called the Nova Scotia Youth Conservation Corps. Their primary job responsibilities include summer surveying to verify community sustainability interests in the development of the Town of Kentville sustainability plan as well as supporting Kings Transit and Kings RDA on various research projects and events planning.
