To help commemorate Earth Day April 22 and its focus on the environment, staff of the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens in Wolfville and the Friends of the Gardens Society held a plant sale April 21, with proceeds to the gardens' plant conservation program, and also offered guided tours of the gardens. The motto of the event was “grow native, for Earth Day and every Day.”
