Man transported to Halifax following ATV accident Sunday
A 57-year-old man was transported to hospital in Halifax on Easter Sunday as a result of an ATV accident on Highway 335 in West Pubnico.

According to the RCMP’s Western Traffic Services, at approximately 9:15 a.m. on April 8, an off-duty West Pubnico paramedic came across the unconscious man who had just lost control of his all terrain vehicle.

The police say the roads were wet. The man, who lives in Pubnico Head, suffered head injuries. His identity has not been released.

The Yarmouth County and Western Traffic Services, along with the West Pubnico Fire Department, responded to the call.

The investigation is still ongoing
