Fire destroys Milton home

A home in Milton was destroyed by fire on Friday afternoon.

Liverpool firefighters arrived at the Glenwood Street home to find the one storey bungalow fully engulfed in flames.

Crews from as far away as Lockeport and Caledonia were called in to help put out the blaze.

Firefighters battled heavy smoke and fire in the walls and attic of the structure before getting the blaze under control.

A cause for the blaze had yet to be determined.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.
