Bridgetown students rally behind hog farmers
By Chad Hudson
On March 8 at Bridgetown Regional High School there will be a rally/ information session in support of local hog farmers and Valley industry in general.

The event will take place in the Gym from 7 to 9 p.m. and will feature MLAs from the area and several mayors from local municipalities as well as local farmers.

The purpose of the event is to inform the public about the crisis facing local farmers and the decline of industry in the Annapolis Valley, and all of Nova Scotia.

It's March 8 in the BRHS Gym from 7-9 PM. You can contact Brian Foster by email at fosterba@student.ednet.ns.ca

The form for the evening will be as follows (tentative): Local farmers share their personal stories of hardship, local leaders address the issues of industry, organizers speak about the importance of the issue, public question and answer session with MLAs and mayors.
