Lots of fun at "Battle of Wits" Crime Stoppers fundraiser

The Valley Crime Stoppers held the “Battle of Wits” trivia contest fundraiser at the Kentville Fire Hall on Saturday evening, Feb. 24. There were nine teams of five competing. They raised about $1,400 after expenses for the good cause. First place went to the “Aqua Aces” from Aqua Valley Water. Second place went to the “Kentville Menzies” representing the Kentville Police Service and the Town of Kentville. Third place went to “A Touch of Class”, representing Annapolis East Elementary School, including Vikki Priddle (left) and Kim Frank. The dim wit prize went to the Wally Wonders, representing Wal-Mart.
