Fire crews, paramedics and RCMP were at the scene Sunday of a two-vehicle collision in Weston that sent three people to hospitals in Kentville and Halifax.

Two-car crash in Weston sends three to hospital
Waterville and District Fire Department January 30 at 20:21 answered a chimney fire call on Brow Mountain Road. Crews were back at 21:31.
February 1 at 16:39, an alarm at First Nations Day Care in Cambridge was cancelled before crews could respond.
February 6 at 10:15, there was a motor vehicle collision on Highway 1, just west of Rafuses’ farm. A vehicle had left the road. Firefighters assisted with traffic control and returned to the hall at 10:42.
February 9 at 19:50, a chimney fire on Russia Road in Black Rock required firefighters until 20:51.
February 25 at 9:47 a.m., the Berwick and District Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident near 3380 Highway 221, north of Berwick. When Berwick arrived, it called for assistance from Aylesford to provide its rescue unit and jaws of life. Two vehicles had collided head on and the roads were snow covered at the time of the accident. Berwick worked to free a person trapped in one car while Aylesford assisted Berwick with another person trapped in the second vehicle. Two people were transported to Valley Regional and the third was airlifted to Halifax. Fire units were freed from the scene at 11:11a.m. and fire police remained to assist RCMP with traffic control. The highway reopened to traffic at 11:35 a.m.
As they were released from the accident scene, Berwick received a call for a medical assist at 38 Hiltz Rd. in Garland, north of Berwick. Firefighters were on the scene for a short period to assist paramedics.
