Head-on collision near Falmouth

A two-vehicle accident on Highway 1 in Falmouth the morning of Feb. 9 resulted in only minor injuries.
The RCMP said that a vehicle heading in the direction of Windsor started to fishtail, crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a Falmouth-bound vehicle.
An RCMP spokesperson said members were surprised there were no serious injuries. Both drivers were taken to hospital as a precaution and later release. Slippery road conditions were a contributing factor in the crash.
