Two Kings County men have suffered serious injuries in a single vehicle accident that occurred in Weston early Thursday morning.

RCMP Traffic Services is investigating a single vehicle injury crash that occurred on Brookyn Street at approximately 1 a.m., Thursday morning, Oct. 19. The vehicle left the road. The driver and a passenger -- both men from Kings County -- were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say that the crash occurred on a straight stretch of road with weather conditions being good at the time. The preliminary investigation suggests speed and driver inattention appear to be contributing factors.
