French Toast Dippers
Make breakfast a blast with these tasty French toast strips. Kids will love dunking these in maple syrup or fruit spreads.
1/3 cup 1% milk
2 eggs
4 slices Wonder+ Bread
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp margarine
6 tbsp light maple syrup or sugar-reduced syrup (or fruit spreads)
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon.
Melt margarine in a large frying pan on medium heat.
Dip slices of bread into the egg mixture, flipping to coat each side about 10 seconds, and carefully transfer to the hot pan.
Cook for 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Remove from pan and slice into 1-inch strips.
Stack strips on a plate and serve with maple syrup or fruit spread for dipping.
Serves 2
