Windsor's 10th annual Pumpkin Regatta!
Windsor celebrated the 10th annual Pumpkin Regatta with large crowds showing up to see both the parade and pumpkin races.
The slight overcast sky made Lake Pisiquid perfect for viewing as people lined the waterfronts of both Falmouth and Windsor to watch racers put painted pumpkins in the water for a chance to score some cash.
With the most racers to ever participate in this regatta, Anothany Cook decorated his pumpkin as a soccer ball and won the paddlers pumpkin competition with a time of 10:56. Chip “Pumpkin Head” Peterson placed second with a time of 11:24, and John Allan, riding the Batman themed pumpkin, finished third with a time of 12:26.
Also, Dani Rippey finished first in the motorized pumpkin race.
