Twelve-year-old injured in bicycle/vehicle crash
RCMP Traffic Services are investigating a bicycle/vehicle injury crash that occurred this evening at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Post Office Road, Bridgetown, Annapolis County.

RCMP report that the bicyclist, a 12-year-old boy, was taken to Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville with non-life-threatening injuries, where he was treated and released.

A preliminary investigation revealed the bicyclist failed to stop at the stop sign of the intersecting roadway and struck a car that was headed northbound on Post Office Road. RCMP Traffic services are still investigating.
