PHOTO ESSAY: Hospital Hullabaloo Saturday
A long-time tradition continued this past Saturday as the Women’s Auxiliary of the Yarmouth Regional Hospital presented the 48th annual Hullabaloo. The event, a fundraiser for the hospital, was held at the Mariners Centre.
Over the years the Hullabaloo has raised money for various items, including medical equipment and furnishings. The proceeds from this year’s event will help buy furnishings for the hospital’s new cancer wing.
Described as an “everything and anything” bazaar, the Hullabaloo included an auction, raffles, food and a vast assortment of things for sale.
The women’s auxiliary has been serving the Yarmouth hospital for over a century.
Information was not available at the time of this posting as to how much money was raised. Update to come later.
