Crafts, quilts and chowder at Seaside Centre

Saturday hours are 10-4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Follow our signs and look for the blue building with the bright red doors.

This year we have more crafters than ever; all tables and floor spaces are booked and demonstrations of rug hooking, basket weaving and quilting will be offered.

Home made chowder, chili and home made desserts are offered each day. Items for sale this year include: woodworking - toys, furniture and scroll work: painting - free hand, oil and acrylic; fabric - decorative, wearable, crocheted and knitted; jewellery - shell, sea glass and stained glass; plus photography, printing, candles, soaps, ceramics, sea things and baskets.

In addition to our popular quilt display, a one of a kind, newly completed, commissioned quilt will be featured. There will be quilts offered for sale. Both days there will be demonstrations of hand quilting, rug hooking and basket weaving. On Sunday only, there will be a large food table.

Beach walkers please note the land behind Seaside has been cleared to the ocean. Come and enjoy the Crafters, have a great lunch and then walk it off using our new access to beautiful Eagle Head Beach.

A Crafters Basket will be offered as a door prize and a special item will be available on tickets. Admission is by donation and all proceeds will be used to continue the operation of the Seaside Centre.
