Dozens run, walk and cycle in Wolfville as part of 28th annual Terry Fox fundraiser
Terry Fox’s dream of fundraising to find a cure for cancer lived on through thousands of people who participated in running, walking and cycling events across the region and the nation on Sunday, marking the 28th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope. There were several such fundraising events in Valley communities, including the run in Wolfville, where in spite of the threat of a shower, dozens turned out in support of the initiative. Participants could choose to run, walk or cycle one, five or ten kilometre courses. Reporter Kirk Starratt was on hand for the Wolfville run and files the following video package…
