The Events column is for non-profit listings of events in Digby County. Items may run twice for free before the event’s date. Sept. 14 - Screening film ‘Moonstruck’ at Oakdene Community Centre at 8 p.m. The short film ‘The Last Weir’ by Bear River filmmaker Tim Wilson will start the evening. Sponsored by Hillsburgh United Church.

Sept. 10 to Nov. 12 - Art exhibit in Scallop Palette Gallery, Digby General Hospital. Featured artist Marie Warner works in oils, pencil and watercolour.
September - Art exhibit in Clare library features landscape paintings of Clare area by artist Isao Sanami-Morrill. For more information, contact the library at 645-3350.
Oct. 11 - Benefit in aid of Wayne and Diane Milbury in Royal Canadian Legion, Bear River, at 6 p.m. Live auction and donations would be greatly appreciated.
