September events at the AGNS
On Sept. 21 a “Picture This!” program will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Western Branch in Yarmouth.
There will be a reading of Emily Gravett’s book “Wolves” to find out where they live, how many teeth they have and what they like to eat. Participants will make their own stories and pictures of rabbits and wolves.

On Sept. 28 at 2 p.m., socially conscious British slam poetry meets “soulful Canadian guitar and kickin’ percussion grooves” when Tim Merry and Marc Durkee perform.

Their performance promises to be an intimate set of tunes before “Merry & Durkee hit the road for the USA and the rest of Canada in the fall.

For more information on these programs call the gallery at 902-749-2248.
