DATE IN HISTORY
Sept. 10, 1971 a 7:23 a.m. fire involving the Hebron church kept the fire department busy for approximately 2 ½ hours. Water was pumped from a nearby lake as firefighters worked inside the church, preventing a spread and keeping the damage contained to the kitchen area.
YFD ANNUAL BANQUET
As the local election will take place on Saturday, Oct. 18 the annual banquet will be moved ahead one night, taking place at the fire station, Friday Oct. 17. More info will be available shortly.
NUISANCE ALARMS
If you have problems with nuisance alarms, do not disconnect your smoke alarm. Try another location or another model of alarm, but keep your home protected. Always be sure you understand why an alarm is sounding before treating the alarm as a nuisance.
