Balser on Canadian team heading to South Africa
Digby golfer Anne Balser will be among 11 student athletes representing Canada Sept. 2-5 at the World University Golf Championships in Sun City, South Africa.
The women's roster is comprised of the top five finishers at the 2008 Royal Canadian Golf Association university college championships in May.

Balser will join University of Victoria teammate Christina Spence of Cobble Hill, who captured the individual crown and led the women to the team title.

The six-member men's team includes individual champion Andrew Robb of Richmond, who also led University of Brtish Columbia to the men's title at the RCGA championships.
