Custody for multiple offences

The court has sentenced Christopher Alton Davison, 24, Wolfville, to a period in custody for one count of breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence therein; having possession of a credit card knowing it had been obtained by the commission of an offence; three counts of using a credit card knowing it had been obtained by the commission of an offence; one count of fraudulently impersonating an individual with the intent to obtain property; one count of stealing property from a store of a value not exceeding $5,000; one count of the included offence of mischief interference; and one count of resisting a peace officer engaged in the execution of his duty.

Davison entered guilty pleas to all nine charges Aug. 27, 2008. The court sentenced Davison to 12 months in custody, consecutive to any other sentence, for breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence therein. Davison was sentenced to three months in custody, to be served concurrently, on each of the remaining eight charges.

Davison committed the offences of breaking and entering Roselawn Lodging and committing an indictable offence therein and having in his possession a credit card knowing it had been obtained by the commission of an offence in Wolfville June 27, 2008.

He committed the three offences of using a credit card knowing it had been obtained by the commission of an offence in Coldbrook, Gaspereau and Melanson June 27, 2008.

He committed the offence of fraudulently impersonating an individual with the intent to obtain property in Melanson June 27, 2008.

He committed the offence of stealing property from a store, Sobey’s, of a value not exceeding $5,000 in New Minas July 30, 2008.

He committed the included offence of mischief interference in Wolfville Aug. 20, 2008.

He committed the offence of resisting a peace officer engaged in the execution of his duty in Wolfville Aug. 3, 2008.
