There were 237 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Aug. 21 and Aug. 25.

August 21, a customer at a gas station in Greenwood failed to pay for gas and pop and gave the attendant the

“finger.”

Police in Kingston received a 911 call about two men in a Ford Ranger with Alberta plates who pointed a handgun at a gas station attendant.

Someone shot a hole through a window in Greenwich overnight.

Someone reported a dog left in a parked vehicle in North Alton with all its windows rolled up at 3:53 p.m.

Two young men were observed trying to jimmy the door on a Kingston business at 6:15 p.m.

A Prospect St., New Minas resident reported three swords and two rings were stolen from a residence.

A drunk man was escorted home in Aylesford at 8:19 p.m. and, an hour later, people in a half ton truck were reported firing paint balls in the same community.

Police were asked to removed a psychiatric patient from Valley

Regional Hospital at 11:41 p.m.

Early August 22, a noise complaint came in from Bay St. in

Wolfville. Then, at 3 a.m., an unwanted 25-year-old woman received a warning after she was drunkenly banging on a door on Hillside Ave.

A truck was stolen from McNally Rd. in Morden about 5:30 a.m. The owner, who'd left the keys in the vehicle, saw it go by the window with a flat tire.

Vandals broke windows on three vehicles at a Cambridge business overnight.

A grocery store customer in New Minas accused another patron of assault, but it was determined the tap on the head with rolled up fliers was an attempt to remind a former neighbour of their acquaintanceship.

A vehicle in Cambridge was vandalized and a rock was thrown through a porch window.

Two male youth were trespassing on Stephen Crt. in North Kentville.

Police assisted when a woman experienced chest pains outside a business in Greenwood.

A couple was caught shoplifting at Zellers in New Minas.

A car/ motorcycle collision occurred in Centreville about 5:15 p.m.

A Hall Rd., Greenwood resident reported paint balling of a house.

An on-going problem of a male stealing change from a laundromat was reported from Argus Dr. in Greenwood.

A man received minor injuries while driving an ATV on the old rail bed in Auburn.

Four young men set a paper bag full of manure on fire on a door step on Main St. in Kingston about 10 p.m.

Late August 22, police in Wolfville on foot patrols heard an alarm go off at an unlocked Main St. business.

At 2:15 a.m. Aug. 23, four young men were moving concrete dividers around at Boston Pizza in New Minas. Police could not locate the youth, but they replaced the dividers.

A noise complaint was made on Mee Rd. in North Kentville at 2:30 a.m.

A man so drunk he did not know where he was set off the alarm at New Minas Baptist Church at 4:33 a.m. He was found in the foyer and arrested.

Someone threw a rock through a living room window on Lockhart Dr. in New Minas.

Damaged mailboxes were reported up and down Belcher St. in Port Williams.

Property damage was reported to shrubs and a mailbox in Cambridge.

A shoplifter in Wolfville confessed to stealing chicken from a store in New Minas.

A 14-year-old girl was caught shoplifting in New Minas at 3 p.m. She fled, wearing new jeans and leaving her old ones behind. Police located her, made an arrest and found her in breach of probation.

There were minor collisions in Aylesford and Victoria Harbour.

A suspicious fire was reported in a recreational trailer on Weaver Rd. in Canning.

Seven or eight youth caused security to call police when they were climbing inappropriately and playing with shopping carts at Boston Pizza about 9:20 p.m.

A man shoplifted alcohol from the N.S. Liquor Commission outlet in New Minas.

About 10 people were disturbing neighbours on Stirling Ave. in Wolfville.

Police are investigating a one-vehicle collision on Sherman Belcher St. in Centreville about 10:20 p.m.

A 32-year-old man was arrested after a fight on Mee Rd. in North Kentville that attracted six people.

A 16-year-old boy who'd been drinking was arrested in Aldershot for causing a disturbance about 11:43 p.m.

Residents of Bigelow St. in Wolfville complained to police of three nights of loud music just before midnight.

Early August 24, a Belcher St., Port Williams resident reported mailboxes being vandalized, but police could not find any evidence.

Bouncers at a liquor establishment on Harbourside Dr. in Wolfville called police at 2:30 a.m. about a drunken woman. She was arrested.

Two men were scared off when they were observed hanging around a house in Auburn at 3:41 a.m.

Someone drove through a garden overnight in Bishopville.

Police are investigating the theft of money from a vehicle on Saxon St., Centreville.

Vandals smashed a window on Caldwell St., New Minas.

Someone threw a rock through a window on Balcom Dr. in Wolfville.

Six ATVs were riding on Brow Mt. Rd. just before 1 p.m.

A 17-year-old male was caught shoplifting in Coldbrook and arrested.

Someone stole $50 from the New Minas Fire Department canteen.

A man set a cardboard box on fire outside a business in New Minas at 1:30 a.m. August 25.

A noise complaint was made from Kinsman Ave. in Cambridge at 2 a.m.

A thief tried to steal a bike off a deck on Maple Dr. in New Minas at 3:24 a.m., but it was secured.

A collision took place in Greenwood at 8:15 a.m.

An arsonist attempted to start a fire at the site of a house under construction on Mee Rd. in North Kentville.

There were seven domestic incidents. A total of nine mental health complaints came in; among them, someone refusing to leave Valley Regional Hospital property and a woman in a store wearing underwear and wrapped in a blanket.

There were 16 false business alarms, four false residential alarms and 15 false 911 calls.
