Art group holding show and sale in West Pubnico

The 10th annual art and sale show at the Musée acadien de Pubnico-Ouest runs from Aug. 28 to Sept. 14.



The opening of the show will be held on Thursday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m.

Fourteen local artists from the Argyle area participate.

The artists are: Père Maurice LeBlanc, Simone d’Eon, Marcel d’Eon, Jeanne Amirault, Imelda Currans, Adeline LeBlanc, Velma Surette, Laural Amirault, Doris Bourque, Eleanor Meunier, Charles LeBlanc, Mariette Amirault, Hazel d’Entremont and Thérèse Amirault.



The display is called Pubnico. The paintings capture the Acadian community of Pubnico.



Museum hours of operation are: Monday –Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. Admission: $3 per person
