Barbecue and baseball

A good crowd was on hand as former students of Church Street School Section 61, their families and friends gathered at the former site of the school Aug. 17 for a barbecue and a baseball game between the Port Williams Warriors and Canning Eagles for the second annual Porter Cup trophy. A number of young players participated and Canning Recreation director Kelly Lee handled some of the pitching chores.
