Walker receives municipal recognition
Digby’s Amanda Walker has been presented with the Municipality of Digby’s certificate of recognition for being chosen the 76th Queen Annapolisa at the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival.
The award was presented by municipal councillor Linda Gregory following the Scallop Days coronation ceremonies.
“Amanda represented her community well during Apple Blossom," said Gregory. "We are proud of what she has accomplished.”
Walker was the 2007 Scallop Days queen, which made her Digby’s representative at the Apple Blossom Festival this past May and early June.
