Bidding on a seat at Adirondack auction
Adirondack chairs posing in the former SAAN store windows are up for auction as part of the Queens Association for Supported Living’s second annual fundraiser.
“We have a real variety this year,” said QASL Marketing Coordinator, Brian Fralic. “We have everything from kind of a sixties look right up to yellow poke-a-dot bikini.”

One chair has the Coffin Island Lighthouse painted on it.

Beginning Aug. 20 at 8 a.m. bidders can go online to www.qasl.ca or phone in their bid.

“Last year we made over $3,500 and we’re hoping to bypass that amount this year,” said Fralic. “The funds we collect go to directly to supporting programs at the centre.”

There will be a thank you reception for artists and guests Aug. 19 at the Rossignol Cultural Centre.

The auction ends Aug. 27 at 12 p.m.
