Buckler Exhibit
Until August 31 Ernest Buckler exhibit, Macdonald Museum in Middleton, until August 31, celebrates the 100th birthday of this esteemed Valley author with a display of photos and memorabilia including Mr. Buckler's desk, his typewriter, his university degree hoods, and lots more. The museum also has a small display of Loyalist (reproduction) costumes in commemoration of the 225th anniversary of the Loyalists in Nova Scotia.
Notice of Meeting
August 20 The Bi-ennial Meeting of the Torbrook Mines Cemetery Corporation will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug 20 at 1539 Torbrook Road, Torbrook Mines. All plot holders and other interested persons are welcome to attend this meeting.
Tennis mixers

Musique Royale
August 22 Presents the Toronto Consort, Canada’s leading chamber ensemble, at King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal at 8 p.m. The Consort’s performance entitled ‘The Da Vinci Codex’, will feature Italian music from the time of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Middleton Farmers' Market

Wine and Cheese
August 22 North Hills Museum invites you to attend a Wine And Cheese Reception on Friday, Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the museum, 5065 Granville Road, Granville Ferry. The evening will feature oral history remembrances of Robert Patterson facilitated by Ern Dick. For information call 902-532-2168.
Bob’s Birthday
August 23 On Saturday, Aug. 23 from 2 to 5 p.m., the public is invited to attend Bob’s 100th Birthday Party, a celebration of Robert Patterson's gift of North Hills Museum to the people of Nova Scotia. August 23 The Sea Breeze 4-H Club of Margaretsville and area is holding a car wash on Saturday, Aug. 23 at the 007 Auto Sense in Kingston from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bishop Park Gala Day
August 23 Bishop Park Gala Day, Round Hill, will be held August 23. Includes ball games, games of chance, Bounce Kingdom, bingo, chinese auction, lawn tractor race, pie eating contest, ball hockey tournament and a chicken barbeque with salads, dessert and beverage. Green Day Event
August 23 A Green Day Event will be held Saturday, Aug. 23 at Emmanuel Church, 37 Gates Avenue, Middleton from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, rain or shine. Cemetery Service
August 24 All are welcome to attend a special cemetery service to be held at Torbrook Mines United Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24. Rev Joy Noble of York, PEI, will be the speaker and will conduct a blessing of the graves at the end of the service. All cemetery plot holders are encouraged to come to worship and make a special contribution to the up-keep of the cemetery.
Hymn Sing
August 24 Old Country will perform at the Inglisville United Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Join us for an evening of wonderful music.
Gospel Fest
August 24 Come to the Country Gospel Fest at the Port George Rec Centre from 1 to 5 p.m., featuring wonderful local talent. Free will offering and canteen available.
Preschool

Church Luncheon
