There’s a lot going on at the library this summer. Every Wednesday there will be a Kids' Camp at the Library from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for kids ages five to eight. Please contact the library for more information. A Teen Lounge will be held every Thursday night throughout the summer from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Come along to hang out, play computer games, etc.

The teen lounge Thursday, Aug. 21, will be one to remember. There will be a marathon Wii, DDR, computer games and anime session for teens at the library from 3-7 p.m. Pizza and snacks will be provided.

For anyone interested, the Library is offering one-on-one computer tutorials on topics such as: Internet security, digital cameras, or any other topic of interest.

Many local kids and teens have joined the Annapolis Valley Regional Library's annual Summer Reading Program Hang Out and Read and some have already earned their free FastPass from our Summer Reading Partner, Upper Clements Park. Other great prizes can be won, just by reading and entering our contests. Kids who have completed their reading can now claim their FastPass.
