Town supports moving ahead with 103 roundabout
The Town of Yarmouth is ready to do more than just talk about a possible roundabout at the end of Highway 103.

At last week's regular council meeting council approved a motion to send a letter to the province advising them that they are ready to move ahead for planning of highway development. Although any changes are a long way from becoming a reality, several councillors said that if they don't make a move it would only prolong the process.

The roundabout is part of a larger plan by the Department of Transportation that could one day see the joining of Highways 101 and 103 as well as an interchange where the Greenville Road meets Highway 101 and a road that would link the end of the 103 with Chestnut Street.
