August 16 at Evergreen Theatre will see an evening packed full of music and song as Andrew White and Gillian Boucher bring their world-class act over the North Mountain to East Margaretsville.
White moved to Nova Scotia from England in 2003 and quickly established himself as one of the country's most sought after finger-style guitarists. Concert and festival audiences across Canada, Europe, and the South Pacific have been taken by storm with his technically amazing guitar playing and his soulful songs,
A local of Inverness, Cape Breton, Boucher has toured the world as a solo artist and with various ensembles, sharing the stage with the likes of Emmylou Harris, Natalie MacMaster, Capercaillie, The Battlefied Band and Tom Paxton. Her unique musical approach and cross-over between traditional Celtic music and contemporary makes her a sought after working musician in Canada and abroad.
