Thanks to farm market supporters
Letter to The Annapolis County Spectator
Dear Editor:
My wife and I would like to take a moment to publicly thank everyone who has participated in the Bridgetown Market this year, vendors and shoppers all.
We knew from the beginning that the market would take a while to catch on and would be a lot of work, but we thoroughly enjoy seeing the pleasure it brings each week to a lot of people. We also strongly feel that markets like this are an important part of a strong, diverse local economy as well as a community building event.
Each week we have wonderful locally grown fruits and vegetables, beautiful and sometimes amazing art and crafts and treasures waiting to be discovered. Each week we also have old friends meeting and new friends being made.
Please join us every Tuesday, over the bridge in Bridgetown, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at 160 South Street. Spaces are free; tables are $3, which goes to the Bridgetown Recreation Department. You can call me at 665-2029 for more information.
