Highway 101 closed due to motor vehicle collision
Although there is no official information available at this time, an apparent motor vehicle collision on Highway 101 between Exit 11 in Greenwich and Exit 12 in New Minas has forced the RCMP to close the highway between Exit 10 in Grand Pre and Exit 12 in New Minas. With rush hour and the holiday weekend, traffic is backed up significantly in all directions. The collision apparently took place shortly before 4:30 p.m. An update will be provided as soon as official information becomes available.
