SEB – Kings County Self-Employment Benefits program

The Self-Employment Benefits (SEB) program provides income, counseling, technical and professional development assistance to all eligible residents interested in starting their own business. The program is funded through the Government of Canada via Service Canada.

Applicants must contact their local Service Canada office or an external case manager in their area for a needs assessment and eligibility determination. If successful, the eligibility will be provided to CBDC Hants-Kings and an orientation session completed.

The Kings CED Agency’s successful Kings County Online Business Directory has proven to be a valuable tool that allows you to advertise your business free of charge. The business directory provides pertinent information that is searchable by company name, location, products, services and category.

If you are wondering what events are happening in your area or what events are happening at the Kings CED Agency, you can access the Kings CED Agency’s Calendar of Events online at www.kingsced.ns.ca. Local community events and Agency events can be viewed on the Kings CED Agency’s website on a monthly basis.

The Kings CED Agency would also like to post your community events on its Calendar of Events. If you have an event that you would like to have posted, contact the Kings CED Agency by phone at 678-2298 or via e-mail at meastman@kingsced.ns.ca.
