Here are a few images from the concert held Wednesday evening at Ecole secondaire de Par-en-Bas in Tusket.
The event was part of the Festival acadien international de Par-en-Bas.

The evening began with Wedgeport native Julian Babin, a singer-songwriter who was followed by Pascal Lejeune of New Brunswick.

Fayo, also of New Brunswick, was next.

Rounding out the evening was Cocodrie of Louisiana, a Cajun collective of musicians featuring members of the Grammy-nominated Pine Leaf Boys.

More festival music is on the way, including a Friday (July 25) concert in West Pubnico with La Viree and BeauPhare and a closing-night event Sunday (July 27) in Wedgeport, where the scheduled performers include Simon and Andre, Dixacadie, Julian Babin, Grand Derangement and Zachary Richard.
