Drug bust in Kingston
Three charged in July 19 search
A 43-year-old Kingston woman faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act after RCMP searched an apartment on Main Street early Saturday morning.
Police said they were responding to numerous complaints regarding suspicious activity in and out of the apartment.
Morrison, and a 43-year-old man were arrested at the scene after police seized a quantity of marijuana and other illegal drugs. Also seized from the apartment were drug paraphernalia and a quantity of cash.
Morrison also faces a charge of breach of probation.
The 43-year-old man also faces trafficking charges and a 28-year-old man faces charges of possession of a narcotic.
RCMP were assisted by the provincial enforcement task force under the Safer Communities and Neighbourhood Act.
The investigation continues.
