Reunion planned for class of 1983
Twenty-five years ago, over 100 graduates left the Liverpool Regional High School to pursue their dreams and in August graduates have a chance to reunite with their classmates.
A 25-year reunion will take place Aug. 16 – 17 for the class of 1983.
“We’re hoping to get the word out to all the local people from that class,” said reunion committee member, Tim McDonald. “I can’t stress enough how important it is for the locals to come.”
On Aug. 16, registration and a meet and greet will take place at Marlin’s, with a dance later that night.
There will be a family day at Pine Grove Park on Aug. 17, said McDonald.
“We probably only have about 25 people out of over 100 graduates,” sign up so far, he continued.
Six people make up the committee.
“We’ve been working since February planning and organizing, people have contacted us but unfortunately the responses have been trickling in very slowly,” he added.
Even though the registration deadline has passed, McDonald said, “It’s not too late to register.”
$20 per person will cover the entire weekend.
To register call Tim McDonald at 354-2450 or Anne-Marie Scott at 354-2942.
