Unsightly but not dangerous
An anonymous complaint received by the Municipality of Barrington regarding premises owned by Richard Nickerson at the corner of Petticoat Lane and Highway No. 3 in Barrington has been investigated.
The complainant referred to the property as being dangerous and unsightly. Although the by-law enforcement officer’s report has not yet been filed, it has been indicated that the property has not been found to be dangerous and unsightly.

The property is locked and secure and there are no tenants at the present time. No tenants have used the building since November 2007. The owner has been contacted by telephone and has indicated that he will have the remainder of the tree that has been cut up on the property removed in the near future, and will cut the grass around the building. The last previous complaint received by the municipal office was in July 2007.
