Festival acadien de Clare looking for volunteers

The oldest Acadian festival, the Festival acadien de Clare, is finalizing its plans for its 53rd festival and is seeking volunteers.

The events that require volunteers are the following:



• Admissions

• Merchandise sales

• Stage hand

• Site set-up and clean-up

• Decoration

• Advisory committee for contests

• 50/50 lottery

• Poster distribution



All volunteers must be punctual and good humored while dealing with festival participants and other volunteers and must be able to welcome visitors in French. It is the festival’s official welcoming language.

Last year around 200 volunteers helped at the festival.
