Cut for the cause

Allyson Higgins had a haircut for the cause Friday, June 13. Her long brown locks were removed as part of her fundraising for the Relay for Life event held in Kentville later that night. She started collecting funds June 5 and, at cutting time, had received $1,800. Before the cut she said, “I’m nervous, but what holds me together is all the support I’ve received and knowing that it’s for something worthwhile.”
