PHOTO ESSAY: A lazy afternoon at the Wedgeport wharf
With the commercial lobster fishery having ended last month in southwestern Nova Scotia, there isn't a lot of activity happening at the wharves in the region, with the exception of fishing vessels and crews that are preparing to take part in other fisheries over the summer months.
During a June 12 visit, Vanguard associate editor Tina Comeau turned her lenses on the wharf in Wedgeport where about the only noises to be heard was the water lapping against the vessels and the familiar creaking sound as balloons and vessels rubbed against the wharf.
