There were 168 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between June 5 and June 9.

A check point June 5 in Aylesford stopped 100 vehicles and police handed out four warnings and two tickets.

A suspended driver was stopped on Highway 101 near Aylesford at 10:44 p.m. after driving erratically. He was charged additionally for not having insurance, registration or inspection.

A 17-year-old male was caught and arrested for shoplifting at Zellers in Greenwood at 3:26 p.m.

There was a 911 call from Forest Hill about an individual bumped by a hit and run driver.

A collision occurred in New Minas at 4:35 p.m. Shortly afterward, a French tourist hit another car in Grand Pre.

Two youth were caught shop lifting at Wal-mart at 5:37 p.m. in New Minas.

Two vehicles were severely damaged following a rear-end collision on Main St. in Wolfville at 6 p.m.

Kentville police called for assistance at 1:55 a.m. June 6 following a disturbance at a Kentville pub. It was under control when the members arrived.

A shed at an Aylesford business was broken into and a car battery and charger stolen.

A red 1997 Plymouth Neon was reported stolen from North Kentville at 4:57 a.m.

A vehicle was deliberately scratched while parked in Millville.

Cash and papers were taken from an unlocked vehicle in Greenwood overnight.

A mailbox was knocked down overnight in Kingston.

A driver in Coldbrook failed to pay for $10 worth of gas.

Two teens were caught trying to steal sunglasses from a store in New Minas at noon. An 18-year-old male, already on probation, was charged. Later, a 16-year-old male caused a disturbance after being stopped shoplifting. He was arrested about 3:43 p.m.

The theft of mail was reported from Marina Dr. in New Minas.

The driver of a green Grand Am took off without paying for $85 worth of gas in Greenwich.

An Auburn Wood Lane resident of Auburn reported damage to a fence and other mischief.

Someone entered a Steadman Rd. home in Billtown and stole a ring and medication.

There was a collision on Main St. in Kingston at 5 p.m.

Three altered cheques were reported as fraud in New Minas.

Police found 16 drivers not wearing seat belts in Kingston. They towed one vehicle.

A vehicle was keyed in Millville.

Managers at the Empire Theatres in New Minas reported two young women who'd been drinking for refusing to leave around 7:44 p.m. Staff found liquor bottles in the washroom. The pair left in a limo just before police arrived and officers stopped the limo en route to Halifax. The woman were dressed to screen “Sex in the City.”

Four youth in Kingston were reported for mischief on Pineridge Dr.

Eleven people were stuck in an elevator on the Acadia University campus at about 10:35 p.m. They phoned 911 after about 45 minutes of waiting. Two people became ill. Fortunately, Wolfville fire fighters were able to open the elevator door before repair workers could arrive from Halifax.

There was a loud party on Linden Ave. in Wolfville at 11 p.m., then noise was reported from the vicinity of the Acadia Arena.

Staff at the Top Hat Tavern in Greenwood reported a man was hurt in a fight over an ex-girlfriend about 1:25 a.m. June 7.

A report of loud music on Julie Dr. in Kingston turned out to be folks playing “guitar hero” at 1:45 a.m.

A shed was broken into in Cambridge overnight.

A three-year-old girl was found outside at 7 a.m. in Coldbrook. She was returned to her sleeping grandparents.

A man failed to pay $50 in cabfare after a trip to Jones Rd. in New Minas.

Two trucks were rifled through in Auburn and a pocketknife taken.

Thieves broke into a barn at a business in Cambridge overnight.

A motorcycle that had broken down on Highway 101 near Greenwich was stolen the next day.

A boy riding his bike got some scrapes when he veered into traffic in Auburn about 4:50 p.m.

A male was reported urinating outdoors in Kingsport at 5:40 p.m.

Two drunks were stumbling down Cavell St. in Canning at 6:44 p.m. One was located and warned.

A woman fell and hit her head at the washroom in the recreation centre on Black Rock Rd. at 10:40 p.m. She was taken to hospital.

Loud party-goers went inside after a complaint on Pineridge Dr. in Kingston at 10:50 p.m.

An Elizabeth Ave., Kingston resident reported broken solar lights early June 8.

A garage on Argus Dr. in Kingston was egged overnight.

Someone vandalized a mailbox in Hillaton.

A cottage was broken into at Lake George and a party occurred without the owner's knowledge.

Tools were stolen from a shed on Victoria Dr. in Kingston.

A truck window was smashed on North Ave. in Canning.

Two young men who'd been drinkin got into a fight on Parkway Dr. in New Minas about 9:55 p.m.

Early June 9, a deer ran down Hillside Ave. in Wolfville and headed for the Acadia University campus.

A side window was broken on a vehicle parked on Dykeland St. in Wolfville.

Cheques were stolen from a mailbox in Canaan. The packaging was left behind.

Scrap metal was stolen out of bins in Coldbrook.

There were eight domestic incidents and two mental health calls.

There were five false business alarms, three false residential alarms, one false medical alarm and four false 911 calls.
