Youth arts festival
June 1-22
The first Youth Visual Arts Festival will be held at the Yarmouth County Museum and Th YARC. This exhibit gives students in the arts program in the Yarmouth County area an opportunity to showcase their talents. Festival runs until June 22 .

The Firefighters’ Museum of N.S. will be celebrating Museum Day, June 14. There’ll be games and refreshments. Family fun. Free admission, activities are from 1 -4 p.m.

Book launch

On Saturday, June 14, at 2 p.m. there will be a book launch at the Yarmouth County Museum. Local author Bill Crowell will be launching his new book The Artist and The Colonel, the story of Mabel Killam Day and Frank Parker Day. He will be reading excerpts and signing books. Light refreshments will be served.
Music and rappie pie

There will be a musical fun night, rappie pie takeout and karaoke at Club Lestantue Community Centre Pinkney’s Point, Yarmouth County Saturday, June 14. Washer tournament

VON annual meeting

Women’s workshop

A free workshop dedicated to help women with to look good and feel better during and after cancer treatment with tips and techniques on how to camouflage the side effects of their treatments will be held Monday, June 16, at the Yarmouth hospital in the Pink Room, first floor from 1-3 p.m.
