Yarmouth library celebrates Aboriginal Day


The Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Library is celebrating National Aboriginal Day with a display of a selection of aboriginal artifacts, courtesy of Ronald Surette, on Friday, June 20.



Surette is the director of economic development for the Kespu’kwitk Metis Council. He will be at the library between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. to discuss these artifacts and the aboriginal history of the area. Cake will be served.
