Luncheon for Literacy
The Hants Learning Network and Woodshire Inn/Cocoa Pesto are partnering to offer a Luncheon for Literacy June 18 from 11:30am-2pm at Cocoa Pesto. Establishment owner Scott Geddes believes in supporting great community causes. “Creating opportunities for literacy awareness and for people to think about lifelong learning potential is the first step,” Geddes said. “Our hope is to have a early summer party where people can get together, talk about literacy, and enjoy them selves.”

The luncheon will feature gourmet soups, sandwiches and salads. Tickets are $15 and are available at Readers Haven, or at Computer Literacy on the Move at Hants Community Hospital. Proceeds will go to support adult learning programs.

For more information or to order luncheon tickets, please contact HLNA Coordinator, Karen Ferguson at 798-5956 or visit www.hantslearning.ns.ca.
