It’s Hire A Youth Week

The Yarmouth Service Canada Centre for Youth (SCCY) is hosting its annual Hire A Youth Week this week. The week promotes youth employment by providing job opportunities and networking events for young people and employers.

The following events are scheduled:

• Wednesday, June 4, from 1:30– 3:30 p.m. at the Yarmouth Mall, there will be an information booth set up.

• Thursday, June 5, from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Service Canada Centre (post office building on Willow Street) there will be an information booth with free lemonade.

• Friday, June 6, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Sobeys bagging groceries and distributing information packages to employers and youth.
