Special Lions Club Constable Gary Hutchinson (left) hauled ‘perpetrator’ Don Porter to Mock Jail this week to raise awareness of an upcoming fundraiser in Port Williams. The event, part of this year’s Port Williams Days, will involve taking pledges and on Friday, June 13 – which might be an unlucky day for some - Club constables will lock up a person of the donor’s choice. Those pledging $100 will be awarded a $100 gift certificate for Stage 2 Furniture and Appliances. Further information and pledge forms are available through the Port Williams Lions club. Contact Ernie Hovell at 542-3933 for more information.
